Forget 10 Years Ago

$240.00

Limited Edition Series, only 10 bottles available. Ingredients are natural, plant derived absolutes and isolates hand blended and poured in the studio.

NOTES:

Warming up the fire moving deeper in history: warm clove & cassia based in smokey tea

A warm, moody, elegant and slightly spicy scent.

The original fragrance was launched 10 years ago in 2015 for a solo exhibition titled “On Forgetting: Filling the Flask”. It was then shared at the AIX Scent Festival at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles in 2016. The series contained a suite of forgetting fragrances, “Forget Last Night”, “Forget Five Years Ago”, Forget Ten Years Ago” and “Forget 20 Years Ago”. Each scent was designed as a walk into the woods, where the further you got into the woods, the more memories would be burned. Each fragrance building on the previous gathering notes along the way from plants in the woods. This was inspired by fairy tales, where walking into the woods was a symbolic device inviting metamorphosis and change. In the series forgetting is seen less as a burden and more as a freedom for new experiences.
